IN-HOUSE SERVICES

Richard has worked in-house as:

• Legal Counsel for Ernst and Young (Hong Kong);
• New Zealand Legal Counsel for engineering consultancy Connell Wagner; and
• General Counsel for the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA).  

Richard was a member of NZICA’s Executive Management Team and, in addition to acting as General Counsel, spent three years as General Manager, Regulation leading NZICA’s disciplinary, practice review, professional support and government advocacy functions.

As a result, Richard has broad experience advising boards and executive teams manage legal and
reputational risk.
